Girls Teams
RAYLA Girls Teams play in the GNLL Summer league using USA Lacrosse rules. Please see the resources pages for more information about the GNLL league, equipment, and rules.
8U/10U/12U: Mid April through July
14U: June through July

When
Summer season begins in mid-April and runs until the final tournament at the end of July (14U begins in June).
Teams can expect 2 touches per week before games begin and then 2-3 touches per week once games begin mid-June. Games and practices are Mondays - Thursdays.
Fall Season runs September - Mid October. The season consists of 7 games over 5 weeks on Sundays, and there are not regularly scheduled practices during that time. The season ends with a tournament October 11-12.
Where
Spring practices are held at Northeast Ice Arena and outdoor practices are held at Roseville Area Middle School once weather permits.
Home games are also at Roseville Area Middle School.
Practices
Summer:
Practices are Tuesday and Thursday for each team, and an extra practice may be scheduled when practice schedule conflicts with games in a given week.
8U/10U/12U:
Indoor practices begin mid April.
Outdoor practices begin mid May, weather permitting.
14U: Practices begin in June, after players are released from the high school lacrosse season.
Fall:
There are no regularly scheduled fall practices.
Games
Summer:
Season includes 8 games for 10U, 12U, and 14U, 6 games for 8U that will occur on week days, M-Th.
Typically, 12U/14U teams play games Tues and Thurs evenings and 8U/10U teams play games Mon and Wed evenings. However, games can be any weeknight M-Th.
Teams play up to 2 weekend tournaments plus the year end state tournament. Tournaments are determined by team size and availability and are subject to change.
Tentative tournament weekends are June 5-7, 2026 (Shakopee) and June 26-28, 2026 (Prior lake OR Woodbury).
State Tournament:
8U/10U July 18-19, 2026 @ Delano HS
12U/14U July 24-26, 2026 @ WBL North Campus
Fall:
7 games will be scheduled during 5 weeks from September - mid October.
Jerseys
Practice jerseys are provided and game uniforms (jersey and shorts) will need to be purchased during registration.

WELCOME TO THE 2026 ROSEVILLE AREA YOUTH LACROSSE SEASON APRIL - JULY 2026
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, sign waivers, enter health information, and submit payment.
A current USA Lacrosse player membership is required for each player to participate in RAYLA programming.

Families are required to complete 5 volunteer hours per player with a family max of 10 hours or families may choose the buyout option which replaces volunteer hours with $225. If volunteer hours are not completed during the season, the card on file will be charged for the buyout after the season ends. During registration please indicate areas of volunteering interest so that more information can be sent to you regarding those opportunities to fulfill required hours.
