Boys Teams

RAYLA Boys Teams play in the GNLL Spring, Summer, and Fall league using USA Lacrosse rules. Please see the resources pages for more information about the GNLL league, equipment, and rules.

*6U team is coed (See 6U coed page for more information).

BOYS TEAMS BY BIRTHDATE (Starting Fall 2025):

14U : 9/1/2011 TO 8/31/2013

12U: 9/1/2013 TO 8/31/2015

10U: 9/1/2015 TO 8/31/2017

8U: 9/1/2017 TO 8/31/2019

6U: 9/1/2019 TO 8/31/20 (summer only)

When

Spring/Summer season begins in mid-April and runs until the final tournament at the end of July.

Teams can expect 2 touches per week before games begin and then 2-3 touches per week once games begin mid-June. Games and practices are Mondays - Thursdays.

Fall Season runs September - Mid October. The season consists of 7 games over 5 weeks on Sundays, and there are not regularly scheduled practices during that time.

Where

Spring indoor practices are held at Northeast Ice Arena and outdoor practices are held at Roseville Area Middle School once weather permits.

Home games are also at Roseville Area Middle School.

Practices

Spring/Summer:

Practices are Monday and Wednesday for each team, and an extra practice may be scheduled when practice schedule conflicts with games in a given week.

Indoor practices begin mid April.

Outdoor practices begin mid May, weather permitting.

Fall:

There are no regularly scheduled fall practices.

8U Boys

Spring: 2 weekend games in May

Summer: 6 weeknight games in June/July

GNLL Summer State Tournament July 18-19 (Delano)

 

10U Boys

Spring: 4 weekend games in May (double-headers)

Summer: 6 weeknight games in June/July

GNLL Summer State Tournament July 18-19 (Delano)

 

12U/14U Boys

Spring: 6 weekend games in May (double-headers)

GNLL Spring State Tournament June 5-7 (Maple Grove)

Summer: 8 weeknight games in June/July

GNLL Summer State Tournament July 24-26 (White Bear Lake)

Schedules are subject to change until rosters are set.

Game schedules are not set until field availability is determined.

Tournament participation will be based on team size and availability.


Fall:

7 games will be scheduled during 5 weeks from September - mid October on Sundays.

Jerseys

Practice jerseys are provided and game uniforms (jersey and shorts) will need to be purchased during registration. Fitting will occur during practice before these are ordered.

WELCOME TO THE 2026 ROSEVILLE AREA YOUTH LACROSSE SEASON APRIL - JULY 2026


This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, sign waivers, enter relevant health information, and submit payment.

A current USA Lacrosse player membership is required for each player to participate in RAYLA programming.

10u: $300
12u and 14u: $500

Uniform Costs:
Shorts: $26.99
Jersey: $31.99

Families are required to complete 5 volunteer hours per player with a family max of 10 hours or families may choose the buyout option which replaces volunteer hours with $225. If volunteer hours are not completed during the season, the card on file will be charged the buyout amount after the season ends. During registration please indicate areas of volunteering interest so that more information can be sent to you regarding those opportunities to fulfill required hours.
