FREE Goalie Training Opportunity!
We’re excited to offer a new opportunity this year: GOALIE TRAINING through Playmakers Lacrosse in Vadnais Heights.
If you’re not familiar with Playmakers, they’re an indoor training facility that provides high‑quality skills development for all positions, including offense and defense. Their coaches are engaging, knowledgeable, and keep sessions small to ensure players get plenty of reps. It’s a fantastic resource for anyone looking for extra training.
Before sharing the details, we want to highlight something important: the goalie position is one of the most impactful and exciting roles on the field. Goalies are the backbone of the defense, the spark for fast breaks, and the players who make the momentum‑changing saves that fire up an entire team. It’s also a genuinely fun position—goalies get unique gear, stay involved in every play, and develop special skills that make them stand out.
For goalies specifically, the RAYLA board has decided to cover the full cost of goalie specific training for any Roseville player willing to commit to the position this season. Playmakers offers three goalie sessions each week, each capped at just three players—meaning anyone who signs up will get a ton of focused, meaningful instruction. Many of our teams need goalies this year, and this is a great chance for interested players to grow their skills. As a reminder, RAYLA provides goalie equipment for each team to use so you don't need to purchase anything additional.

Then you can create an account at playmakerslacrosse.com or through their app (link included below). Playmakers will tag your account so you won’t be charged when you register for goalie sessions.
